Thong Sala Pier is Koh Phangan's main gateway, and our services leave from there to Bangrak Pier, Mae Nam Pier and Nathon Pier on Samui. With around 38 departures a day — the first leaving at 07:00 — there is rarely a long wait between sailings, making this a straightforward hop across the southern Gulf.
Choosing your departure
Several operators run this corridor with ferries, speedboats and chartered vessels. The short distance means even the standard ferry is quick; speedboats trim the crossing to its minimum. Tickets are priced from THB 250, with faster craft typically at a small premium.
The Gulf tends to be calmest in the morning. After a Full Moon Party on Phangan, early sailings back to Samui fill quickly — we suggest securing your seat the evening before to avoid the rush.
